Celebrity Sneaker Stalker

Last week the King Remembered In Time lived up to his name as Big K.R.I.T. took home the crown. A whole new set of contenders arises in this week’s Celebrity Sneaker Stalker. Competition is thick as we see Wale un-DS a pair of Air Jordan 11s and Chris Brown also pulling out an AJ from the vault. It’s not all Jordans though, as Kevin Federline makes his debut in a rare SB Dunk. Kicks On Court: Amar’e Rocks New Huarache Trainer in Last Playoff Game

Many of you have been critical of Amar’e Stoudemire all season because of his refusal to change colorways of the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer. Whether the Knicks were spotted in their alternate green jerseys or wearing the Los Knicks uniforms, Amar’e always seemed to find comfort in his blue, white and orange Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer PEs. However, in the Knicks last playoff game of the season, our Kicks On Court shockingly spotted STAT wearing a new colorway of this performance monster. In detail, Stoudemire scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while wearing a Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer that featured sort of a reverse color scheme to the one he usually rocks. Instead of sporting the predominately Florida Gators-esque base, this pair owns a mainly orange upper with minimal blue hints on the outsole and Nike branding on the forefoot strap. It is also finished with a white velcro strap and a midsole of the same color. Is this colorway better than the one he usually wears? Who says music artists and athletes can’t compete in some form? Obviously, Pharrell cannot keep up with S.T.A.T. on the court, and Amar’e wants no parts of Pharrell in a music studio; however, they both wear sneakers and are the colliding forces in our Footwear Faceoff today. Earlier this month, Pharrell was spotted at the The Blacks Annual Gala at Eden Roc while wearing the “Black Cement” Air Jordan 3, a sneaker that is expected to release later this year. On the contrary, New York Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire was recently spotted walking out of the Harry Winston jewelry store while wearing the “Playoffs” Air Jordan 13. Who rocked the better sneaker? Who else wants to see Amar’e rock something other than those Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer PEs? Following the Nike Air Max Fly By Amar’e Stoudemire “Home” PE we showed you last week, we now have detailed photos of his “Away” version. Amar’e’s “Away” PE features the same accents seen on the aforementioned “Home” versions, yet, it contains a predominately black Fuse-laced upper. Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Mid Amar’e Stoudemire PE

Amar’e Stoudemire is standing as tall and as talented as he ever has. This season has been a standout, but his jersey isn’t the only thing that’s changed. Shelving the standard basketball models, Amar’e has been getting it done in the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Mid. His PE boasts a royal blue upper, an orange sockliner, and white strap. Kicks On Court: Amar’e Brings New Huarache PE to the Hardwood

Ever since Nate Robinson left the New York Knicks, we really haven’t seen that many extraordinary player exclusives in New York Knicks colorways. However, when Amar’e Stoudemire signed to New York in the summer, it was only a matter of time before the nice PEs hit the Madison Square Garden hardwood. Stoudemire has been rocking Kevin Durant’s second signature model, the Nike Zoom KD II. Yet, the past couple of nights, our Kicks On Court has spotted S.T.A.T. wearing a special PE version of the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer.

Stoudemire’s Zoom Huarache Trainer PE features a colorway similar to the “Pro Combat” Zoom Huarache Trainer for Florida. ‘New York Blue’ covers most of the upper with white hints such as the midfoot strap and midsole providing nice complimentary hints. Also, minimal hints of orange appear in the form of Nike branding throughout the upper. In addition to the “Superheroes” Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer series, is this one of the better colorways seen on this sneaker? Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Amar’e Stoudemire PE

Although New York Knicks power forward Amar’e Stoudemire has been wearing the Nike KD II this season, Nike Basketball has released photos of his exquisite Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PE. These Hyperfuse PEs are very similar to the pair Kevin Durant wore in our Kicks On Court this morning; yet, the blue and orange hints are lighter tones. In detail, the black Torch-laced upper contrast nicely with an orange swoosh and blue hints such as the outsole, tongue and inner lining.
